Kenneth was born and raised in a working-class family in Baltimore City. He graduated from the public school system in 1984 and, a few years later, joined the Baltimore City Fire Department, where he spent 20 years serving the public. During his career, Ken received several awards recognizing his exemplary performance and outstanding service.
In 1998, Ken and his wife started a home improvement business then moved to Calvert County to raise their family. Ken's parents joined them in 2019 before his mom passed away and they still provide daily care for his dad with lewy body dementia.
Ken remains active in the community, volunteering his time with local organizations and community events. The Lee's enjoy spending time together as a family and traveling in their RV.
Ken is committed to supporting Calvert County Public Schools, protecting services for senior citizens, and preserving the environment and rural character that make Calvert County a great place to live and raise a family. He believes growth should be responsible, infrastructure should come first, and longtime residents should not be priced out by rising taxes and over development.
